Dear Engadget,

Stop your snarky comments about Sony products. I couldn't give a crap what your authors think of Sony. I do however, come to Engadget because they have great news about interesting technology. If you want to be snarky go to an Internet forum.

Thanks,
John
nice
Actually Sony lets you use any USB keyboard, compatible bluetooth headset, USB drive, install your own HDD, etc, etc.

They are much more open than their competition, they're just borderline insane with their pricing.

I'm not exactly sure why you want them to burn in hell though, that's rather strong I'd say.
And I'm supposed to believe something like Mass Effect 2 is going to release online time and date with retailers?

They really should have released another HDD with this along with a lower price to it. The pricing on their accessories is borderline insane.
Yeah because Microsoft is known for their open hardware policies. Just look at the 360! I'm still waiting for a 360 hard drive that isn't ridiculously overpriced.

This article is sort of ridiculous for a couple reasons:
1. It doesn't cost twice as much as another PSP. The PSP 3000 is 170 dollars right now yes? How is 250 'nearly twice as much?'
2. People that actually upgrade from one PSP to another are rare, even if they are common on websites like Engadget, so ponying up for 'new' cables is rather irrelevant. Sure it's nice to use existing mini USB cables, I'll agree with that.

I know you're all for web site hits but I think all this sensationalist crap is a bit much.
Earth to Engadget, PS3 shipped more consoles worldwide last year than the 360 and according to many websites, outsold the 360 worldwide.
lol@the bitterness exhibited in this blog. Didn't Sony not send you a Christmas present this year? lol
"When will the PS3 be able to stream video from PC ???? Mine just kinda sits there waiting for a good Blu ray disc to come , cause we all know there are no games other then the 3 we already played 150 times"

I swear people need to learn how to READ.
Anyone else think these "CEO" things are just childish and stupid?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
