I would just like to thank Donald for refraining from any sort of reference to said robot being scary / creepy / going to kill us all / whatever.

Thank you, Donald!
That thing looks uglier than sin. I don't know what you guys are looking at.
Engadget, please don't start this shit again where you post ANYTHING on the next iPhone. Put it on TUAW. This is NOT news and it is NOT interesting.

I mean really, just step back and look at what you just posted. It looks like a parody.

It really hasn't been bad the past few months, can we please, PLEASE keep it that way unless it's actually news? Please?
You guys congratulating CC should ask yourselves if they would have been doing this were this not a high profile case.

Look at how that guy and his situation was treated all the way up to the point where his case got so much attention.
Assuming that the combo players cost more than a BR player (as has certainly been the case) where is the market for these past those who are willing to pay that extra amount to have one player instead of two?

If I was an HD-DVD person and have discs, then I ALREADY have a HD-DVD player, and my next purchase will be a Blu-Ray player. If I don't, then I'm just going to get a Blu-Ray player since it's going to be able to play EVERY movie now.
Make it 10 or 11 inches instead of 12. Screw the depth, as long as it's under 3/4" it's fine. Give me a DVD drive, and give me two USB ports.

Finally, price it at 1200 or so. If that means sacrificing some processor speed, so be it, as long as it isn't ridiculous (I'd expect 1.5 gHZ dual core). No more than 1400.
Ah. So Paul is a racist for pointing out your name.

What's that make you for your negative stereotype that you liberally applied to Texans?

Don't get me wrong Rohit, I thought your original comment was funny, but if you're going to freak out over what Paul said then you probably shouldn't have made yourself look like such a hypocrite for calling out Texans.
I don't know why they'd brag about this.

If it's out there on BT, then chances are it's already cracked or it gives instructions on how to crack it. That many people aren't just downloading a useless disc image.

If Vista IS cracked (which, by the way, it is), then the more interesting question is why is Vista STILL only half as popular as XP, even if they're both cracked and free?
How many more confirmations do we need?

Come on guys, just let us know when they're going to release something. We already know it works.
Tie Fighter. Absolutely.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
