I just want Leopard so I can buy a macbook before I go to uni in October. I can't live for a month without a computer until the end of October! But I'm also not buying a product with an end of life OS...

My university course starts in the first week of October, I need/want to buy a Macbook but I'm not buying a laptop whose OS will be succeeded within a couple of weeks. Are there any options for me here?

Do Apple offer any sort of policy where if you buy a computer within a month or so of a new OS, you can get the new OS for free or discounted rate? Or will I be limited to the 14 day returns policy?

Hopefully Leopard will be released within the first week of october, I can't see myself living without a PC for a month.

But when my iPod mini was sent off under warranty, it ended up going to Belgium to be fixed??? So they want us to take our stuff to the continent?

(None of my other Apple gear has ever had to be repaired so I don't know where it usually gets sent)

This is the first time I've heard you need an adaptor to use your PS/PS2 memory cards. And they dont include it with the package?
