Poor people and college students shop at Wal-Mart.
You must be neither.
I thought she worked at CNET. Did she leave or is this just another gig? And did she get hotter?
I've always wanted one!
ENGADGET! Why do I have to confirm every post through email???? I missed the 10th giveaway, i think. Please check for me- I posted it in time but then i just confirmed it through my email and there has been 3 more giveaways since then. Do i get credit for the time of post submission, not posting? If not, you should give me the shuffle anyway. Or remove the need to validate my posts through email. Thank you.
could i please win this time?
I don't care what a box looks like. Unless my opinion gets me a free copy of Leopard. Contest, engadget?
I'm learning about IP law in law school right now, and I need to look up that patent. I don't see how, after the KSR Sup Ct ruling, running voice transmissions over the Internet isn't obvious, or just part of common public knowledge of average people working in the trade. It seems obvious to me, and I don't even work in telecommunications!

Any thoughts?
Wow, I think 3 biology majors just posted the same thing in a row...sorry for the repeat.

It's Craig Venter! His career was already made! This IS his "tenure" work!
Questions about the new Zune:

Does it play unprotected AAC files?

Can it play music videos purchased from iTunes?

I've never been happy with Apple's larger mp3 players. I only buy the mini and nano. I think the new Zune is what I've been waiting for in a hard-drive based player.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
