I comment, therefore I am...

Clearly interested in getting one of these!
You SAY the world as we know it hasn't ended, but how do you know we aren't all just stuck in a year-long time loop? I could have SWORN I already posted this comment, like - a dozen times...
I live in Washington DC and have been using a Touch Diamond for a couple weeks now - a TRI-BAND Diamond. HTC announced that release in the US was still a few months away - and general UK shipments just started within the last week. There is NO WAY CompUSA has the line on Quad-banders and this is how we are finding out about it. It would be a huge deal if HTC had released them already.

Oh, and in the whole "extra cost of a subsidized phone across 2 years" argument, those are fees you're going to have to pay anyway - I consistently buy my phones from overseas just because they are better, and while I pay a lot more money for them, I'm not locked into the crappy choices the US carriers provide. But I'm still paying the x amount of dollars every month for the service.
:) You know he meant "than", rather than "then"... That said, are you trying to say the Touch Diamond ISN'T better than the 1st gen iPhone?? Hell, it's better than the 2nd gen iPhone if you ask me... Well, 1.5 gen iPhone... You can't really call the same device, with the same OS, and just a radio and case upgrade a "2nd gen device", now can you?
Umm; I'm running TWO 3008WFPs... That I got a couple month's ago... What exactly is the problem they experienced??
80% porn, 20% - oh, who the hell cares - 100% PORN.... :)
As long as I can one day fly myself into space, I'll be happy.
I wouldn't worry too much. Just because they are closing shop in the States doesn't mean they aren't going to release them - you will probably just need to get a UK version...
Just not true. The last couple phones I actually purchased from AT&T stores were both unlocked phones; and I got all the support I ever needed from them.
The thing that really irritates me about the concept of "Playing God" is that anyone who even things that is possible must have a pretty low opinion of God. Either he exists well beyond what we are capable of, or he isn't all that great to begin with...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
