Man, I would be putting labels on EVERYTHING if I had one of these. Please don't let me win - it will destroy my marriage.

Now, anyone willing to open their Vaio P and take a picture of the solder pads? :)
I just bought a Logitech Notebook QuickCam Pro for my wife's sister. I selected it because of two factors:
1.) It was one of the only webcams that printed its optical aperture on the lens (most other webcams, including many from Logitech, just had marketing BS about low-light handling printed around the lens instead of, you know, the ONE PIECE OF INFORMATION that's most useful in determining likely low-light capabilities), and
2.) It had the widest aperture of any of the webcams in the store I was in.
It doesn't seem that bad to me; I used a similar kit to replace my 2G iPod's battery when it went south. $20 does seem a little...thrifty, though.
(crosses fingers) Hope I win.

"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
