Sorry, this just sounds far far too much like wishful thinking. Especially releasing all that new pro glass at once, let alone at the same time as either one of the D3/D300 bodies.
Why did they have to beat it repeatedly with the ugly stick?

It looks like they wanted to make it look like a classic Pentax, but didn't want to redesign any of the internals, and so they had to compromise on the shape. Also, the top chrome part looks like plastic; it really needs to be metal, and the whole thing needs to be smaller in size (like the classic Pentaxes).
Since when has the iPod been open to third party developers?
What does the text below the cameras read?
Hi, one thing about Engadget that annoys me (even if I can totally see where you're coming from with it) is the lame video ads - I have an old PowerBook and something about the videos brings my computer to a crawl. Maxes out the CPU and pretty much crashes my browser. As a result, I can only read Engadget stories via the RSS feed. As for possible solutions: maybe you can make it so you have to click before the video starts playing?
That screenshot looks suspiciously like Qtopia (Linux for phones)... finally a Linux phone that is only mildly... neigh considerably ugly.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
