I was wondering if it is possible to hire Erica for some iPhone programming.
I would Hate to have a one on one fight with Master Chief. This is the same guy who rides alien nukes onto other spaceships like a space cowboy.
Raffles fall under the same or similar bracket as a lottery... you cannot do them with out certian guidelines, AKA illegal. the only thing they could do is a sweepstakes (free for all to enter). or an auction... money goes to charity... its easy to see what was chosen and why. kitt2112 u should quit your bitching and whining because u are incorrect.

Hmm looks like i have a new addition to my MacMini based Media Center
"amazing -- i just had my parents install the mac beta slingplayer on their macbook pro in about 3 simple steps. i simply gave them my slingbox ID number and slingbox password and they were able to connect and control my DVR if they ever miss a show from the comfort of their own home in another state. If I need access, I can simply disconnect them... The great news is if they want to watch the slingbox on their tv, all they need to do is plug their mac into their big screen tv using the Apple DVI to Video Adapter + audio adapter and then mirror the screen for them to be all set! too bad only 1 person at a time can use the slingbox, unless you have more than one slingbox of course, but its still a nice option to let someone watch something off your DVR last miniute if they ever missed something. I think every mac user should own this product or at least those who love tv!"

You sound like you work for the company. You give this away by saying such phrases as:
"i just had my parents install the mac beta slingplayer on their macbook pro in about 3 simple steps."

That sounds more like an infomercial than anything else. The whole 3 simple steps thing just kills it.

"i simply gave them my slingbox ID number and slingbox password and they were able to connect and control my DVR if they ever miss a show from the comfort of their own home in another state."

Again you continue to use the words simply, you are trying to over express the simplicity of the situation. and the whole "comfort of their own home" screams of cliche. you cant watch any infomercial about adults or old people without hearing "comfort of their own home"...

I will try to get beyond the endorsement for the Apple Peripherals that was just oh so blatently laid forth, but really, try and tone that part down a bit.

"I think every mac user should own this product or at least those who love tv!"

OK... Again with the infomercial cliches. I cant tell you a single commercial that doesnt have this as part of the advertisement "I think every blah blah blah should own this product!" Its not these cliche statements that sell products, its ingenuity, creativity, and harnessing the imagination of the viewer.

Im sorry if i sounded a bit brash, but i have recently developed a case of insomnia... going on 4 days... and im a bit irritable...

oh well this has been a 16yr olds inerpretation of this comment... good bye
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
