Dogs hate that sound. I've got that "mosquito" ringer (aka 16.7Khz) on my cell phone. Works well when my friend's dog drools all over me.
The photos look set up to me. #1 look how close the guy must have been to take a photo of the cop- would the cop allow this? #2 the front wheel of the cop car is very close to the curb in the second photo, in the first, you can't even see the curb. (although there is a bit in the corner that MAY be the curb, the angles appear to be different). #3 This guy doesn't even look like a cop to me- don't they have some sort of uniform? #4 the website source doesn't say much about the story and situation behind the photos.
2004: http://www.engadget.com/2004/06/09/turn-your-pc-into-a-mac/
-Such a comprehensive way to transform your desktop. I actually did this back in the day. Enjoyed it for about a week until the resource usage got to me.
2005: http://www.engadget.com/2005/09/03/tiretagz-turn-hubcaps-into-a-tacky-led-display/
-I love these things! First you get spinners, then these ridiculous things. I think there is a better product out there now. I love the clear hubs that they have now (mmm hot brakes).
2006: http://www.engadget.com/2006/03/28/pimpstar-rims-for-the-opinionated-driver/
-And here are the improved rims! Has anybody actually seen these yet? I showed so many of my friends this and they all laughed so hard.
I think they are assuming that each burn will take 20 minutes to complete, and that each burn will be for a two hour movie. :|
because hydrogen isn't a source of energy per se, but a way to carry energy. it costs about $6 to get an equivalent gallon of gas.

spamtard.
Somebody call the NFL, because these people are paying with their SOULS!!! GAHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Looks like the cable for the screen is really short. Are the motherboard's ports not generally on the back of the computer, or am I going insane?
ha. this cant compete with the iphone. iphone is the best. i owe my soul to apple for bringing such a sexy phone to market. i want to have the iphone's babies. touch screen is the future. i like grubby screens. i love iphone. did i mention that this isn't an iphone? cuz iphone rocks!
What an awesome idea for this product! Fairly low cost considering that it eliminates labour for putting up price tags. That is, the person inputting the data into the system (pre-existing job) would also be updating the price tags, presumably.
Does anybody have a job anymore, or what?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
