oh please, an alienware will get you laughed out of a room of real gamers just as bad as a dell.

Alienware (and xps for that matter) is a RIPOFF. They usually tack an extra $1000 to the price and alot of these computer were designed by total retards (like a p4EE powering a quad sli rig, an fx60 can MAYBE power 2 cards at capacity i've only tried an fx57)
Alienware mattered when they made cases, now its just the same crap as dell weither they are bought by them or not. Build your own or get someone to do it for you.
BOOOOOOOOOO!!! COP OUT! release the damn keyboard.

It'll be interesting to see how much the little thing costs, because no matter what they claim, i dont think the keyboard can be made for less than $500.
Why have nominations for this catagory? There's only 3ish possible choices...

ok screw it..

I nominate the Atari Jaguar and Panasonic 3DO.
.......
wow..
Electrojack wins.
Treo 700w
It does everything.
This is the most crippled box i have ever seen. Regular 7800GTX x2 SLI boxes with a good AMD are cpu limited. Imagine this thing..

I guarantee if you dropped this to just 2 7800s your framerate would be the same. 1 Good cpu cant keep up with 2 cards. This is 1 bad cpu trying to keep up with 4.

And its still a dell. In the same shitty xps case you get for $2000
Reminds me of a nintendo ON. =)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
