Yeah, they need to make it universal for all gadgets (as I distinctly remember reading and being impressed by) and the magnets i.e. the contact seems unnecessary since it's based on induction (clearly, it's not, duh). So round two, please.
I'm sorry but that makes no sense. This thing IS directed at iPhone users. I care enough to buy better than standard earbuds to listen to my mp3s and I'm frustrated I can't do it wirelessly when the tech is there. And I doubt Bluetooth would in someway degrade the quality when were talking mp3s.

And if your reply is something relating to how mp3s suck anyways then we can just leave at that.
Uh, maybe that was kinda the point? I fail to see the innovation in adding a microphone with a button to a wire. Why not make it a BT device and actually make something useful? There's plenty of similar solutions available, but none with quality headphones/earbuds.
Yes, this should go great with my E2's, thank you Shure! Oh wait, it's not wireless, what were you thinking Shure. Back to the lab.
It seems you need to learn some basic computer tech there, son. Your argument would've stood say three years ago, but not anymore. When's the last time you've seen a PC laptop with a combo drive, even at the el cheapo price points? Yeah, that's what I thought.
and still no superdrive on the cheaper model. that's basically the single reason i'm not getting one. i find it appalling considering dvd burners cost $30 in retail. of course the slot loading is more expensive than that but still, i find it very hard to believe it would be substantially more expensive than a combo drive that requires two lasers. so either apple has a huge bloody stock of combo drives or they're really just being greedy a-holes.
Meh, connectors are so 90's. Seriously, with wireless recharging on its way and wifi and bt already widely accepted, what exactly is the point? Double meh.
Again I have to wonder, where's the attraction? I mean, they're slower than regular hard disks so what exactly is the point?
I'm not quite sure what I'm missing here with the solid state drives but 132mbps is pretty damn bad compared to the 40-60MBps spinning disks can do. I 'spose the seek times are way lower but does that really make that big of a difference?
Hey, my brother plays guitar for Mummypowder, I'm famous!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
