It looks like it's just plastic - Dremel it off! I think the handle might be a nice touch.
Front Row is garbage, and I've never used the Apple TV. If you want the ultimate home theater system go to osxbmc.com and install the latest build of XBMC for MAC OS X. Install the xTV theme and you've got a very Apple TV-esque experience but you can play anything you want (except, ironically, anything bought via iTunes).
No mention of the video card, huh? I was checking these out today as a replacement to my D610, and I was bummed that the only video option is the nv Quadro, a card I can't find any real information on. Anybody know how the Quadros compare to the GeForce / Radeon cards? I'd like to get another dell, but with the Inspirons not having a pointing stick, the Precisions being rediculously pricey, and now the Latitudes having nerfed video, I may have to look into another brand. Damn shame.
You guys must be psychic... I'm drilling holes in my wall and running CAT5e as we speak to hook up my XBMC and Xbox 360...
Ok, here's what I don't get...

I've installed XP hundreds of times, and I have never sen that grey background with the Windows flag come up on boot. It's always been the flag, black background, and "Windows XP Professional" screen. That silver screen looks more like Windows Server 2003's boot screen.

Can anybody explain where that screen is coming from? Maybe it's his emulator boot screen or something equally whacky?
Um, is there a link to the Verizon store that I'm missing? I can't find where to purchase it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
