I have to be honest, I could care less what the maid uses to clean my rugs. As long as their clean, I'm happy.
* People need to reread the story before commenting. This has nothing to do with an ipod*

I have Sonos and it is the best audio purchase I have ever made. I can have any type of music, from anywhere in the world, at anytime. Plus I can use Napster/Rhapsody/Last.FM/Pandora/my own music library all through a touchscreen remote. For the people that say you can do it cheaper elsewhere...run down to your local Best Buy and play with it for a minute. There is no doubt you will be walking out the store with this unit in hand. It's like goign from dial-up to broadband. Once you have broadband you'll never go back. Same with Sonos.

As for the unit on topic...I'm definitely getting one for the bedroom and maybe the kitchen.
Or people could go to the voicemail settings and turn this off. Just sayin'.
I believe it should be mandatory everyone work retail once in their lives. Then you will see, no one is over priced when you're dealing with 10% and lower margins. With that knowledge you'll be able see why the store can not lower prices by huge chunks and why they can't pay someone who has expertise.

Jump into a sales position with your current company and Best Buy will seem like they are giving the stuff away for cheap.

With that said, I scored two tv's last year on black friday and have been happy every since.
Not much to look at now, but this is going to be real sweet in the next two years. Not having to have my equipment near the tv sweet! Having my computer monitor across the way, sweet!
You won't be needing any new equipment for now. In the future, if the combined companies were allowed to use all the bandwidth(which might not happen per the FCC), then you would need new equipment.

However, this is a bad thing because our pricing will undoubtedly go up. A merger would suck for the consumer. I'm pissed these guys spent so much money on programming to where they can't even be profitable. Oh well, enjoy your sat radio while the prices are still in check.
The thing no one is thinking about is how we are going to protect the 747 from enemy aircraft? The laser is cool, but flying that slow boat around with supersonic jets zinging by and tossing missiles at is another thing.
I told Comcast the box was ugly and that I don't care about OnDemand. They said it didn't matter and that I had to take the box because they won't be sending cards till version 2 was available anyway. :Rolls Eyes:
Ok, I'm all down with Voip as it keeps a roof over my head and food in the frig. However, having a wireless phone that you can carry around but hardly ever use is beyond me. If you want to use voip, get a box where you can plug a regular phone into. Or, get a cell phone. No city is completely wifi. Even if it was, you'll drop signal all the time just by going to the other side of a building.

I just don't get the appeal.
Ok, is it me or does the engadget mobile site take for ever to load and scrolling is near impossible?

On topic: sidekicks are cool but the screen needs some serious love.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
