Fossil drops three more Bluetooth watches {Engadget}

Sep 28th 2006 1:46PM Everyone and their dog has this idea 5 years ago. I think it hasn't been produced because people haven't lost excitement from other phone technologies. Maybe it's also hard to make small enough. I don't know. I also wish that temperature was dispayed on my phone/watch.
You should be able to use your watch to select music on your pda/phone and to see the temperature, time, and caller ID.

The Palm Treo 700w (aka Treo 670) - Exclusive first look! {Engadget}

Jan 4th 2006 6:46PM I feel like a kid at Christmas time; one of those kids that buy something close to what the kid wants, but not quite.

Who is asking for a QWERTY thumbpad? I've never used the optional one that came with my iPaq h6315. The buttons are tiny, and the stylus-graffiti is pretty stinkin' easy to use.

Also, why are people complaining so much about no WiFi? I hardly ever use my wifi on my 6315. I think it's mostly because anytime I'm in an area where I can access wifi, I also have access to a laptop or desktop. The only place it comes in handy is on campus, while I'm in a meeting or a lecture. Usually that isn't very necessary, though, since I can use a computer in a few minutes anyway. Bluetooth seems decent enough. I just use wifi right now to connect to both my laptop and desktop for alternating synchronization. Is there any easy app for synchronizing your laptop, desktop, and pda files?

I just want a bluetooth watch with caller-id and an ignore button. If they also wanted to put a hold/snooze button for my phone/pda, then I wouldn't protest.

I'm pleased to see that there appears to be a start menu hard button. That makes so much sense for one hand use. I'm still shocked that on older PPC OS handhelds you can't click ok with the thumbpad. Shockingly non-intuitive. Hopefully this OS and hardware combo use each other better for more one hand use.

The only hard buttons I want are audio recorder, camera, start menu, accept/reject phone calls, and if possible, the numeric phone buttons.

this is getting long, ttyl.
