WAE - thanks for the update. I will jump on this if they increase the dynamic range, sampling rate, and gain of the mic.
This looks like a re-badged version of the Skype 'Freetalk" headset that came out about a month ago. I had one - and returned it. Here's Why.

Listening to music, or a Skype call from another user was fantastic - great quality and range. The headset supports Skype's wideband audio, meaning it should offer the full high voice quality that skype is famous for in Skype-Skype calls on a computer. Problem was, the microphone quality was WAY below the listening quality. Compared to the microphone on my Plantronics DSP-400, this was garbage. Supposedly, there is an update to this headset coming out in March/April. If they fix the mic, I will be the first in line to repurchase.
Called Verizon three days ago and after a total of about 7 people and 2+ hours, was able to drop my minutes to the basic 450/month AND go to a month-month (contract was not up for another year). 2nd level supervisor who finally took care of this was very cordial and friendly and said that he was "going to take care of me" but really need some clarification from the company on how to deal with this on a mass basis.
It would help GREATLY if others that have successfully negotiated this would allow the use of their numbers as an example to Verizon of their waiving the fee, I have been asked three times now to site specific customer numbers that have had their fees waived per this thread.

Thanks!
GREAT!! Two questions:

1. Will it support the full voice quality of Skype, using the wide bandwidth ISAC codec?

2. Will they support the Skype Zones product of global hotspots that allow unlimited Skype only access for something like $8/month?

If yes to both, I may just ditch my cell phone....

"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
