Gerhard: That's how the dates are written in Eurasia because that's conventional and techinically, the right ways from most specific: day to month to year. I also write my dates like that.

The phone is pretty nice, but I'm looking into the Nokia N95 to replace my phone because I need the GSM 850 band. I've already suffered with a N93 without 850 and I lack reception when everyone else has. And yes, thumb keyboards lead to arthritis in the thumbs.
This phone will not be subsidized so don't expect a discount or network contracts. You have to pay retail for this.

As with buying this, I'm pretty poised to buy it, but I'm letting my N93 get used for another couple months before I throw another pay check on another phone.
Damn, so we have terrorists suing for payment so to fund practices to blow us up?
Thanks for the for clearing it wood0517.

As for Sony losing money for every console they sell, well they are not really losing that much. Companies usually put the in amount they "could have" made, but didn't as a loss as well.

As for the PS3, I'm not buying it, just like I haven't bought another console since the PlayStation with 2 games.
AMDs are cheaper than Intels. The only incentive to buy an AMD book from Dell will be the cheaper price...
I've pretty much done with anything Sony. Never fall for another paperweight. Laptops, cameras, camcorders, CD Players, TVs, and so much more. All top of line products. All died right after warranty expired. I Hate Sony. Thank goodness my current laptop (Lenovo T60p) uses a Sanyo battery.
Does this support the new 4GB SD cards?
I love the new Engadget with the password, but is there a way to change my password? I find the password I have too hard to remember as I have a couple hundred other passwords to remember too (I don't use password managers nor do I use the same password on more than one website).
I like Walter Iooss Jr.

I'm kind of jealous of this photography talents and acquaintences.
CRANK as much as I like your ethusiasm about Chinese companies making a rumble controller, I don't appreciate the fact you say that China has no qualms about breaking copyrights, as on the contrary, the respect for intellectual property is very much reinforced critically there.

By the way, it's not called disrespecting intellectual property, its called cloning. We do it here in the US as well.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
