"What is the products rated life (how many hours will it operate)?

Vu1 bulbs are targeting to last 6,000 hours - about the same as many CFLs."
Hopefully they can succeed in doing this, it is a lot of work and will require a high level of technical research to bring it to market but will be worth it to bypass the telecom blockade.

If only the gov't leased the old tv spectrum out or sold parts of it to many companies instead of selling it to the highest bidder who will sit on it just to keep competition out. But that's our government they want instant money now and don't care about the long term future.
I'm going to guess the amp won't work unless it is rotated to the outward position, not just for obvious reasons but to avoid getting sued for hearing loss.
I find sdhc and sdxc really annoying, the original sd had limitations for a reason with sdhc they should of known people would use more than 16gb. They should of had a more open standard like usb with mass storage that is probably infinite in the future. I'm willing to bet that the original sdio system could do this, too bad sdhc cards were not built on this.

Yet another ploy like hdmi to get us to buy new stuff?
I'd like to see a Halo RPG set on a world crawling with covies, flood, and human outposts. Like fallout or mass effect, still having the option to switch to the fps mode we all know and love.

Use of natal for interaction and voice recognition would be cool if it could be as natural as talking to a character in the holodeck on startrek. If it is too limited and more of a nuisance and should be cut, I doubt speech and gesture recognition are quite there yet.

I'm hoping Reach will be a FPS RPG mix.
Neat concept, some may find it useful for home and work use. Though I'd rather just use 2 folders so I could better allocate space depending on needs.
Can we buy it without a service? I've been looking for a good gps/wifi browser device for a year or so, but have yet to find a really good one. Archos 5 with gps dock, Clarion Mind, and viliv s5 came very close to meeting my criteria but all have drawbacks that drive me away.

The n810 also came close but required a pricey subscription $80/year and takes a long time to acquire a signal.

If the rover is locked into a cell provider or has pricey gps option it kills it for me. Who are they targeting? Since owners will be locked into a pricey service they might as well get a smartphone with voice. *facepalm*
I have a vista tablet and use hold to right click, it works very well. Just hold it in one place very briefly about a quarter of a second a circle will draw around the pen about a 1/2 second. A very easy operation less than a second is wasted, not as fast a a mouse but having a bezel button for right click on a touch screen would be more annoying to use. I built a custom wacom pen using a old cracked one and a plastic grip pen, I do not miss the side button I find the hold option easier since you can hold the pen any way you want.
This is like what they did with the gameboy color. Old grey gameboy games worked with it, black colored cartridges worked with both the old and color gameboy(Like DSi Enhanced Cards will), and clear cartridges only worked in the color gameboy(Like DSi cards).

This is a easier way for developers and gamers to transition from the DS to the DSi.

"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
