Commodore VIC-20... those were the days. I'm aging myself by recognizing this little beauty.
There is a cool idea voting engine on http://pre.uservoice.com that is a little more quantitatively wholesome than this posting.

But in the spirit of subjectivity... I'd like a candybar version of Pre running webOS and I'd like to see Palm returning to PDAs to make an iTouch competitor running webOS (by Christmas please :-)).
yawn. Foleo at least had some promise. RIP. Customer portals need to meet web 2.0 - are you listening Blackberry, Samsung, iMate, Palm, HTC?
You can see a reflection on the photo - looks like it was captured from a monitor.

I'm holding my judgement of it until I hear the official specs.

Reminds me a little of Helio's design.
U know iPhone created a great challenge for Palm. We are all suffering from the Palm crown being lost to Apple for top smartphone; we all want Palm to get back on top. It's like a Rocky movie. So Palm get back on your feet and go kick some ass. Your products are still delightful - let's not forget that but they need some new gloss and a slimfast diet.
I had to get it but I'll be going back to my Treo for the keyboard.
Worlds smallest? What about SanDisks UltraII SD cards with built-in USB? I use one of these SanDisk models and find it excellent on all PCs and Macs. These chewing gum shape drives are a bit big for my liking.
Palm and PalmSource are very separate entities as the recent purchase of Garnet proved. Palm is wise to go its own path here - PalmSource seems to have got sidetracked onto a deluded vision of Linux-core Palm OS as a mass telephony platform. Hence, ignoring their core customers, such as Palm. It's like taking your family for granted.
Borders is already selling a device that plays just one book for about $50. It's very wasteful of a good MP3 player that could be used to play all sorts of content. I like this device from Japan - sign me up for one.
The 240x240 screen looks at least as good as my Treo 650. I had one in my hand today at CES and did a side-by-side comparison with 650. I was hard pressed to notice any difference. Pictures, Video and UI look great! I'm sold.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
