Why take the chance with Ebay when you can get the Droid prototype from any VZW store or Best Buy? Oh wait you're trying to tell me the Droid that is in stores is a finished product? It sure acts like a prototype to me...
What I think is cool is that this should (hopefully) allow you to setup a single-USB port docking "station" for your laptop/netbook (with the help of a good USB hub of course). I guess that just leaves the AC adapter (anyone know a laptop that can charge through it's USB port?).
Yeah, it's called the Kodak EasyShare W1020 and W820 which I think both have been out for almost a year. Even though it has Flickr integration, they also give you more flexibility by pulling down over WiFi any RSS photo feed you want (i.e. Picasa Web Albums among many others)...
But where's the control? I'd love to see how a Touch would fare through the same tests without a case...
Any netbook with a higher res. than 1024x600 is welcome to me. Hopefully it doesn't fail to badly because of the Vmedia drive...
I thought they had enough problems to deal with in the Gaza strip and they want to tackle iPhone accessories now?
Not a great weapon by any means. It's accuracy significantly falls off as the distance increases... ...from the TV.
10 Geek points for anyone that can name all the robots in that picture (is that one of those freaky Chuck E. Cheese robots in there?).
And "subnotes" is not??? The most simple and self-explanatory name for the segment is MINI-NOTEBOOK. Everyone knows what a notebook is and I'm sure more people know what the prefix "mini" means vs. "sub".
It's like buying a 1080p set with only composite inputs...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
