@Mark

You did say killer exclusives for 2009 right?

So that means you can cross off, GT5, God of War 3, Final Fantasy VS, Mod Nation, and Heavy rain.

Kind of shortened up your list a bit there didn't it?

And to whats left I counter, Halo Wars (sold more than KZ2), Forza 3, ODST (will pretty much outsell anything in that list), Splinter Cell, Shadow Complex.

You can't say best exclusives in 2009 when half won't see the light of day until next year.
Posts on N4G about something big MS is planning for the 25th. Mostly dismissed as completely false rumor, but one of the pieces of that rumor did have Halo mentioned. Wonder if the fact that these are supposed to hit at around that time with a title update gives that crazy rumor some more credence.
Folks should listen to the Major Nelson Podcast. The games aren't even barred from being sold anymore. There are links in the games on live that let you share with a friend. So if you have a friend that has a delisted game you can still just as easily have them do a share with friend and you can still buy the games. All they have done is remove them from the storefront to make way for games that are new and more likely to sell.

This delisting issue has been blown way out of proportion. Complain about them not doing a spring update. Don't complain about them removing crap from the lists. Granted a good search option sure as hell would be a better solution.
I'm a Crusade fan. Ford and Connery make that movie amazing. Plus, I loved the story. I'm a fan of the mythology behind the Knights Templar.
Feliz Cumpleaños PS3!!

from a die hard boricua!
This was pretty fun. I played it with my fiancee and she liked it as well, so if the purpose is to get non-gamers or casual gamers playing i think it will be pretty successful. This will get play time on Thanksgiving, no question, along with some Wii Sports.
Next up on my list of people i wouldn't want to meet would be the Gravemind.
I'd hate to go up against Tartarus. That guy was a pain in the ass.
Thats a valid concern Phillip, no question. And you have voted with your wallet, the way things are supposed to work. The problem is this type of argument and fear mongering seeks to make the game unavailable to anyone. That's not a solution.

Let's look at the movie Hostel or Saw. Both are shock value survival horror movies. Absolutely not suitable for children, but where's the uproar when children watch them? No where because the argument had moved from movies to video games.
I sent the author of the article the following email:

Steve,

I read your article regarding Bioshock on the ledger and wanted to comment on a couple things. As a correction to your description of the game, it is not futuristic in nature, the storyline actually occurs in the 50's and 60's. In addition, the game does not really give you the option to attack the Little Sister perse. Each Little Sister is followed by a guardian called a Big Daddy, and any attacks are directed at the Big Daddy. Once the Big Daddy is dispatched, then the player is left to the decision at hand, whether to rescue the Little Sister or harvest the Adam syrum from her. Now I will agree that this is a particularly difficult decision to make. On one hand you can harvest her and make yourself more powerful with the knowledge that the Little Sisters are not real little girls, they are constructs of a mad scientist in the game. On the other hand you can choose to limit your strength by destroying the parasite in question and let the creation live. It's not often that a video game presents such an interesting moral dilemma. But when aproaching the game it must immedately be noted that it is specifically for adults. The game is not meant for children, and if children are playing it then that falls on the parents head. I'm not sure if you have had the opportunity to play the game, but I would suggest that you do, as perhaps it may clarify some things. It is evident from the subject matter who the game was targeted at. It features classic period music, does not have gangsters or hip hop, and is distinctly mature in nature. That should not be left out of the argument.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
