The U2 was (is) sub-sonic, your thinking of the SR71 (none of these were ever shot down).
I suppose they call it a "visualization system" because its easier to get funding for than a "giant screen TV".. wonder if that would work for a spouse?
If any photo were asking for the addition of a Jason Voorhies its this one.
I dunno.. you might want to rethink that.. he looks pretty pissed. I am just glad its you he was staring at.. I was worried it might be me.
You should read the article--its designed to be an inexpensive solution for recreational pilots. They just want to make it roadworthy enough to get to and from the airport so that you don't have to pay for hanger storage. It is also going to slow and lightweight enough to qualify as an "ultralight" so that pilots will only require a "sport pilot" license to fly it.
All this for only $150,000.. wait ..thats inexpensive?
The new iPhone is rumored to have built in GPS.
If they aren't going to be released until June, and they don't have any more current generation phones to sell I imagine they would start taking pre-orders to avoid loss of sales.
Its like the villain in one of those cheesy '80's slasher flicks.. the damn thing won't stay dead.
Since you guys had a chance to look it over can you give us some details?
Does it look like to back comes off for a user replaceable battery? (it looks like it). Does it have a slot for a flash memory card? I think I see a mini-USB port, what other connectivity does it have? Did you see what was behind that little door on the side?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
