Aside from all the memes and robot-overlord jokes (not knocking them, I post them myself from time to time), people should check out Stelarc. He is insane. My favourite was when he turned himself into a human puppet, by suspending himself from metal guywires with meathooks through his flesh.
Actually, Engadget is one of the best sources for robot news on the internet. I'm tired of hearing about the next gigantic plasma screen, or the next fastest video card. We can't all have our way, so quit whining.
How do you make a sheet of cake as narrow as those screens, stand up like that?
No, I think you meant it to come out just as it did. Why that was how you wanted it, however, is unfathomable.
You would have, if you'd seen all of them, as you should have.
When it's scared, it smells like urine.

No no no no. Clearly, you didn't get the reference. In one episode of TNG, Data listens to a bunch of different classical pieces, all at once. And then a human teaches him that there's more to beauty than rapid processing, or some such meaningful, human thing.
Gasp! This means that we're one step closer to making Data!
It's a good thing that it detects carbon monoxide *and* darkness. That way, when your house fills up with smoke at night, 'cause you were drunk, passed out, and your cigarette lit your couch on your fire, it won't disturb you from your sleep.
Wait. World's most advanced walking robot and world's most Dutch walking robot? World's most advanced walking robot and world's Dutch walking robot? Or just world's most advanced, Dutch walking robot? (Or would that be most advanced, Dutch, walking robot?)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
