Thank you. I couldn't remember that part for sure, but I knew that the statement in the first paragraph was incorrect, as a friend had to borrow my PC laptop to try it out when it first released.
Well, that, and Riven.
Just as a note, they haven't ALWAYS done both on one disk. I believe it was about a year or so after Starcraft's initial release before it was available on the same disk. I can't recall if the Mac version was available at the same as the PC version upon initial release though.
The last disk I burned was a DVD of a High School marching band performance. And with the extra space I would store my iPhoto library, so the whole thing could travel with me. And probably some movies too.
I always drove up to Irvine. Liked that mall better. Either way though, it'll be nice not to have to spend the gas to drive all that way.
Is anyone else having issues with the iTunes Digital Copy of Blue Harvest? I keep getting an unknown error (11556) when I try to use it. Yes, I'm running 7.6, and connected to the internet. It just doesn't want to play.
At this point who knows what it has for sure. The specs released, as far as I have seen, haven't been too, well, specific.
This seems like a sweet setup. Hopefully the specs (and price) don't change too much before June...
Sorry Matt. Grouchy morning. But, I have seen a lot of those "they come in clear boxes" comments lately on various sites, including comments trying to make the authors sound dumb (which in this case would be "What a sham."). If you want to make somebody else look dumb, try not to make yourself look dumb in the process.
I don't think many retailers track their sales of these by serial number. Too much trouble. Now, most match the serial number on the item to the serial number on the box, but that requires opening the box, and thus verifying that there is an item IN the box.
Um, iPhones, Touches, and Classics still come in a shrink wrapped box. Way to look dumb.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
