Since when is the Department of Justice above the law?? That is the problem with the government and especially the Department of Justice - they are not above the law and they should be accountable just like everyone else is the country. The problem is if they just told the truth to begin with instead of trying to put another notch in their belt at the expense of others.
A friend of mine has this computer in Belgium. It's screen is beautiful and it comes loaded with Microsoft's New Media Center. Your right, it's not cheap. The downside, it's big and heavy. Nothing new in the way PC makers design their laptops. I myself would like to see the new offerings from Apple in the coming weeks. As per usual, Apple will most likely come up with some brilliant innovation and will most likely lead the pack soon enough refining what PC manufacturers offer with slightly more style and ease of operating.
My first Apple was a Classic which was purchased in 1992, but after a few days I returned it because my eyes could not take the Black & White screen. My eyes became real fatiqued, so I upgraded to a LCII with a color screen. It was better for me and I didn't have the problems with my eyes any longer. I had the LC II for several year then upgraded it to a LCIII by replacing the motherboard. It was pretty snappy att he time. I also purchased a Powerbook 150 to take on the road and had that for a couple of years before buying a Duo. I liked the sub compact. After tthat I purchased a Lombard then in January of 2004 I purchased a 1.25 ghz Aluminum Powerbooks which is still serving me. All these products have been extremely reliable and they has very little problems.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
