Because the King5 link is dead, you can read the most important parts of it here:

Checking the Zune Logo on ZuneSleeves.com , I found its not that innocent as it may look... It has been created on Photoshop for Mac :)

By the way the red Zune photo is something I created for fun on Zune-Online. Its NOT an actual photo. The Red version may be quite different than this.
Zune MarketPlace tracks can play on PFS players but PFS tracks cannot play on Zune.

I thought this was quite know but apparently it isn't. Microsoft doesn't support it officially and isn't advertising it.

You can also check an interview with David Caulton on ClicZune some months ago confirming it:

We also asked David (David Caulton, a Zune team member) if he could confirm that Zune music will play on PlayForSure players. David said “Zune content can get out via Windows Media Player into playsforsure devices, but this scenario isn’t officially supported and may not be reliable.”

Do people buy online music? Do you think the answer is "no" because of piracy?

Music industry all those years is not getting it. If they don't standardize the online music format using only one DRM, compatible with all players, I don't believe people will ever start buying. But they were too busy hunting p2p networks and users in the previous years. In the meantime 4-5 ,incompatible to each other, DRM formats appeared.

Why not just buy the CD you are sure it plays anytime-anywhere ? If there were 4-5 different CD formats do you believe CDs would have survived for 20 years now?

In any case we are so tired of format wars. (New example: HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray, plus the new Chinese format)

It is from Andre de Cavaignac posting plus some comments for beginners.
But it seems its not too early for developers to add missing features in Zune.

We'd like to have created this but... check "Feed Your Zune", a PodCast program that is created to work without any problems with Zune (you can download it also, it is 100% freeware)

I won't get into the Zune vs iPod debate.

Just a comment on the Vista Support. Officially Microsoft said that this will be supported when Vista consumer edition gets released in January.

But there are rumors that a first Beta version for Windows Vista will be released in a few weeks.

Check:

I have some comments on the Universal-Microsoft deal.

It is very interesting. If Microsoft manages to repeat it with other major companies it can change the world of music in a way iPod did.

iPod established a user base that would buy single tracks from the internet instead of buying full CDs or just downloading them from the old Napster and friends.

With Zune comes the social factor. You can buy tracks but you can (in a very limited way) share them through Wifi with friends. Music companies getting revenue from the Zune hardware sales could allow a more open sharing scheme.

I believe after 5-6 major companies embracing this model, the 3 days 3 plays of Zune can be extended to 10 days 10 plays easily or why not 30 days 30 plays.
In case you are interested you can check photos from the Zune
Marketplace, View a full video walkthrough and even download and install
on your PC the Zune Software from our site.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
