Muffintop covered by a loose t-shirt ≠ hot
I wonder if that's because, instead of helping any of their customers, the employees were too focused on repeating the same clap, step, clap-clap, turn, clap, step, clap-clap, turn "dance" over and over and over.
Ads? Where I'm going, we don't see ads...

...Because I use host file ad server blocking.

Go to http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm and follow the instructions, or just paste the contents of http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.txt into:

/etc/hosts

using either Terminal.app or BBEdit/TextWrangler (which is free).
Terrence, maybe you've watched a different cut of "2001: A Space Odyssey" than the rest of us -- I recall 3 distinct Monoliths, but zero Obelisks.
@Brent: Interestingly enough, the Apple Store at Pentagon City in Arlington, VA opened in a location immediately adjacent to a Sony Style Store that had been in the mall for 2-3 years.

The Apple Store was bright, airy and usually packed. The Sony Store was much darker, smaller, uninviting and rarely had more than a handful of people in it. Within three months, Sony moved their location within the mall, to the third floor, I think to escape the juxtaposition.

I don't really think Apple followed the Sony model, if anything, it's closer to a GAP store for computers.

(I had to walk through the mall each workday morning and evening, to get to/from the Metro station.)
Either your building is not a Faraday cage, as most cars are, or the building has femtocell repeaters or internal antennas to conduct wireless frequencies in/out.
All the hospitals in the Duke system have free WiFi access. I would assume that the UNC hospitals do, as well, but can't speak from personal experience.

"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
