Why??

You can go the Backblaze route and get a few terabytes (try dozens), faster speed, higher redundancy and higher scalability for the same price, maybe even less...

http://blog.backblaze.com/2009/09/01/petabytes-on-a-budget-how-to-build-cheap-cloud-storage/
you know what...

just ignore me... down rank me... i dont care...

i am goint to get laid either way,,,
HA!

there is a failsafe that deletes your coment if you uprank it too much...

i am too drunk for this... basaicly i said...

"we're all gonna dia... die dai dieeee...."
this is so weird... the end of this post is not right at all... it should read "... and despite warnings of a looming, nefarious Higgs boson. [We are all going to die, but we will never know it. Nice knowing you, have fun not knowing your dead...]"

This linguistics stuff is too flaky and soft... then again, i am drunk as all get-out... so that could be clouding my judgment... also... i hear sirens... the end of the world might just be outside my door... weird...

whatever... where did i put the vodka......
I said it in another post, but I will say it here... Yes, the site is pretty, but Engadget is broken as all hell in my Firefox. With JS on it takes upwards of a minute for the page to load (it locks Firefox in the process), with JS off it loads in a few seconds...

Also, it is impossible for me to log in under firefox. I need to log in using Safari.

I, for one, do not welcome our new Engadget overlord's website...

It isn't official COLOR e-ink... It is similair to traditional black/white e-ink, however it either utilizes a color over-lay, or colored cells, with a traditional black/white e-ink controller. Note how areas of color always maintain their color, even when dark. This can be seen throughout their product line and samples gallery. Colored areas never go to white or grey/black, because they are permanently color, and the controller treats th whole badge as monochromatic.

It is actually quite smart (from a cost and implementation perspective), as well as quite tragic (from a usability/re-usability perspective), as the badge/product can be used for one purpose, and one purpose only, and can never be re-purposed if need be.

In other words, you could not simply hack one of these, your boned (you could re-purpose the monochromatic space I suppose, but it would be tricky, and doubtfully useful when the color is part of the validity and presentation of the badge).

Alas, cutting corners and blowing sunshine. Nothing new to see here...
Did anyone actually watch this all the way through? Note how the "slug" isn't made up of ANYTHING that has to do with the OLPC... It's just a weird THING on top of a microwaved OLPC... I bet it still smells like all hell, and it killed a few Africans in the making anyway...

Is this guy out of his MIND?

20% of $26,001 is $5,200... He is making a killing killing the environment and brain cells...
I like the tween strip-tease linked to the related....
The next day, my alarm goes off and I Jizzed... in... my pants.

I open the window and an breeze rolls through and I Jizzed... in... my pants.

I slid out my second-screen and I JIZZED IN [her] PANTS...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
