Coming soon... custom iPhone firmwares... thats what I'm totally juiced about
It would be one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs in the history of man. They have interviews with the CEO and the marketing guy on the site. You do the math.
I have the p1510d... the previous iteration... I think the real downside to these minilaptops is that they're constrained by the 4200rpm 1.8" drives. SSD or 5400rpm or something for the love of god...
@ Sundy

Apple is not a monopoly. Learn what one is before you go spouting off like a toolbox.

I think you missed the point. Apple is essentially contractually obligated to not open the platform. They are liable for any breach of the DRM. Ergo, anyone that thinks the FairPlay platform should be opened up needs to take it up with the music industry.

PS Employing the term "fanboy" really serves no purpose other than to inflame the other side. But you just had to get that last little jab in, didn't you? It reveals you.
the whole story has insurance/lawsuit scam gone awry written all over it.
What's really sad is that the PSP should have been Sony's iPod. They exist at roughly the same price point. If Sony weren't so keen on stuffing proprietary standards down everyone's throats maybe more people would buy their tech. As it is they make what has become marginal gear with incompatible technologies. Not all that alluring in my book.
I have two Fujitsus... a p7010d and a p1510. Their builds are pretty good and they talk a good game when it comes to support, but the actual execution of the support is fair at best. Really unfortunate considering their design work in the ultra-portable category.

If the P1610 ran OSX I'd be in heaven... it's a long way to a 15" MBP.
Did you read over the specs as you typed them? I think you forgot the sharks with the frickin' lasers... or maybe the kitchen sink... I forget which.
Whoever came up with the idea that a new color scheme is like a new new feature set is both an evil genius and a sick depraved bastard.

"New features? We don't need no stinkin' New Features... We'll just slap a new color on it and profit!"
Look at the arms on that kid... Hairy like nobody's business... I'd be calling the cryptozoologists not the cops!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
