I know that working for ABC isn't easy, with all the daily ass kissing. But my "Righteous Indignation" stands! See... I actually speak of the public -- you know your boss's customers? Remember them? (The public doesn't like commercials -- This is why TIVO was invented! Duh!)
This is an ABC "experiment" that is going to FAIL! I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but nobody is going to go to ABC's crappy website, to watch an hour long show at their computer desk, riddled with commercials you can't skip! There... I just saved ABC a boat load of money. Your welcome.

Of course Wal-Mart gives to charity. So does the cigarette companies. It's called a "Red Herring", Duh! Go ahead and spend yourself right out of a job. Support you local smaller retail stores in the city, like the rest of us.

Yes she's 8. Her parents clearly have money, or the this story wouldn't have ended up on the CBS News. The embarrassment factor is the ONLY reason any scum-bag "Lawyer" would apologized for anything, Mark Aaker certainly didn't do it out of the kindness of his heart (If he has one).

No one in the group came to the conclusion, that "this is wrong" or "we should just steal it and than leave"? Answer; No they didn't.
This was a simple misunderstanding about property, that turned into a horrible tragedy. One that could have easily been avoided.
I'd rather have my shit stolen, than be dead! I'm sure the 6 murdered people would agree -- if they could.

Apr 10th 2006 8:37PM Try again ABC! I'm not sitting at my computer to watch an hour long show.
1.) Wake me when you have the programs on Comcast "On Demand" -- which would make the most sense. That way I can by pass the commercials, or get up and ignore them all together.
2.) Wait until the DVD's come out and rent them from Nextflix. Again, completely by passing the commercials.
3.) Buy the DVD set, record the shows that I like on to an SD card, convert those files to a video format to play on my iPod.
All 3 solutions avoid commercials. I pay for cable, I pay for the DVD's, I hate commercials -- end of story. This is just ABC being greedy and desperate, don't let them get away with it.
Also -- As for the Actors getting paid... again??? Do you get a bonus when your company makes a million dollar deal? Or do you just get your salary?

Do you really believe that just because you live in the sticks or the mid-west, that automatically makes you safer from crime? You are MORE likely to get attacked in the suburbs or the country, than in the city, because you wont see it coming.
Foolishly believing that you and your kids are safer in the suburbs. Crime happens EVERYWHERE! Which is why criminals target malls and supermarket parking lots, because of that FALSE "sense of security" suburbanites have. Next thing you know -- BOOM! You're the next statistic, crying at the police station, "I can believe this happened here!"
If I sound paranoid -- I am, because, I have no illusions when I walk out my front door.
(Also, as for the "South Park" Smugness joke -- it's totally true. We wear it like a badge of honor, "DON'T HATE!")
