There's a special place in Hell for people like you and those who comment "First!"
If it's anywhere near as good as crack cocai... ummm, I mean, PuzzleQuest, it's easily worth the money. PQ and Galactrix have both given me many more hours of gameplay than typical $60 games.
I'm dying to see how that BSI sensor performs in real life.
Just about any smartphone has wifi, and most have VOIP apps.
You guys are wrong. The HD2's, X10's and Droid's of the world may be very sexy but they still make up the minority of phone sales. A cheap device like this can bridge the gap between the featurephone market and the smartphone market, and bridging that gap is good business, plain and simple.

@Adderz
It's should "have", for crying out loud.

@xcrunk
It's "they're", not "their"

Damn, people, is it so hard to get 3rd grade grammar correct? What an embarrassment. America is turning into a nation of idiots and no one even cares.
you guys forgot to turn on your sarcasm detectors.
Wow, you had me all the way until "...at $299"
WTF?! Are you serious?! Why the hell would you be waiting for this piece of crap? Xbox1 graphics from a developer with a terrible track record? I'd pay $5, max.
IW hurt their reputation? What, with the terrorism controversy? Come one, 99% of gamers (who control the purse here) couldn't care less. Just let the media have their bone to chew on.
Well, I do like docking stations just because I move my laptop so much, over the long haul it does make a difference not having to constantly replug thins. However you're right that they need to innovate these and add extra features. Extra memory may be problematic (makes the connects too long), but extra hard drive (hot-swappable) is a great idea, and should have other things like a lock, cooling fans, high-gain wifi antenna, maybe Vista Sideshow display, etc.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
