Palm Pixi review {Engadget}
Nov 12th 2009 9:58AM You guys are wrong. The HD2's, X10's and Droid's of the world may be very sexy but they still make up the minority of phone sales. A cheap device like this can bridge the gap between the featurephone market and the smartphone market, and bridging that gap is good business, plain and simple.
@Adderz
It's should "have", for crying out loud.
@xcrunk
It's "they're", not "their"
Damn, people, is it so hard to get 3rd grade grammar correct? What an embarrassment. America is turning into a nation of idiots and no one even cares.

Nov 10th 2009 10:56PM WTF?! Are you serious?! Why the hell would you be waiting for this piece of crap? Xbox1 graphics from a developer with a terrible track record? I'd pay $5, max.

Nov 10th 2009 4:17AM IW hurt their reputation? What, with the terrorism controversy? Come one, 99% of gamers (who control the purse here) couldn't care less. Just let the media have their bone to chew on.

Nov 6th 2009 3:11AM Well, I do like docking stations just because I move my laptop so much, over the long haul it does make a difference not having to constantly replug thins. However you're right that they need to innovate these and add extra features. Extra memory may be problematic (makes the connects too long), but extra hard drive (hot-swappable) is a great idea, and should have other things like a lock, cooling fans, high-gain wifi antenna, maybe Vista Sideshow display, etc.

The 360's RRoD problems have absolutely nothing to do with the GPU, they are entirely due to Microsoft's crappy motherboard design which made all sorts of design compromises at the expense of heat management. Nvidia and AMD/ATI both make great products so all of you stop being such fanboys.
Olympus E-P2 official, patches over E-P1 problems and jacks up the price {Engadget}
Nov 5th 2009 9:27AM You're wrong about image quality. It is indeed a match for full-size DSLRs. Not on par, but pretty damn close. What it basically boils down to is, you're buying close to DSLR quality in an extremely compact size, at the expense of a few features and cost. The features, honestly, I can live without - taking pictures is as simple as it was a hundred years ago and a good photographer can make good pictures without a lot of bells and whistles. The price however, I cannot live with. It's too much of a premium for just miniaturization.

Nov 5th 2009 9:15AM Weight and size really adds up on long trips. I have had a Nikon D70 (which itself is smallish by DSLR standards) for several years now and I travel. A lot. I have a shoulder bag I keep everything in, but after a full day of lugging it around, my shoulders get sore. Also, it's just big enough that I usually won't bring it around without its case, which often means it stays at home. With something the size of the E-P1/2, I can see myself bringing my "good" camera (as opposed to my crappy PnS) along a lot more, and just throw it in my backback or laptop bag.

Nov 4th 2009 10:46AM For some reason I was always under the impression that it was much larger but seeing it next to the iPhone puts it in perspective. It's barely larger. Damn but I can't wait to get my hands on this phone. Arghhhhhh, it's like being a kid waiting for Christmas!!!
