Magnetic strip? Signature? Seriously?

Why not use the far superior EMV chip and a passcode? Much much safer. (Almost) impossible to copy.

Is this really how America does all there payments? What if I make a copy of your magnetic strip?
YouKu? Really? Is this some sort of YouTube KIRF?
I was waiting for that guy to make me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Why is a clean install essential? Isn't doing a clean install and placing your apps and data back the same as doing an upgrade?

Something I was wondering about with the DSG gearbox.

You are driving in third gear. You gently accelerated and auto upshift to fourth gear, and fifth gear is pre-selected. But at that moment, you jam the throttle, kickdown happens, and you need to go to third.

Is that gear-change going to be just like a regular transmission, slow?
I love that mouse. It has made my fingers-skills so awesome that I can satisfy 10 women at a time.
How can the CC be cheaper? In Holland, you can get the base 1.6 for 37,300 dollar with taxes, the CC starts at 53,100 dollar with the 1.8 engine.

Diesel starts at 43,600 dollar (2.0), CC at 60,600 dollar (also 2.0).
What about lag? My 2407WFP-HC has unbearable input lag, making it unable to play games. Watching video is good, as long as I delay the audio.
Lucky Americans! It's 440.000 dollar in Holland. Flipping taxes!
Now try this on an airport. "Please help me to gate 12!".
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
