I have to agree with mglphil; this thing will never see the light of day. Don't get me wrong; a Pixel Qi screen coupled with tegra and android would rock, (oooh, and slap a Stantum multitouch controller on there!) but these guys don't have anything but a picture and some specs.
Navigon has the maps preloaded (which means it's a huge download) so I don't think there's a need for constant cell service. I know the iphone uses assisted gps though, so i'm not sure how long satellite acquisition would take without any cell service
anything new with bluetooth for the 3gs? like voice control over bluetooth or maybe even AVRCP?
Following the read link and browsing to http://www.att.com/alist shows that there is no charge for this feature if you have a qualifying plan (ie. 59 for individuals or 89 for families)
Ya, I can't download it either.
I'd like to see some announcements about Stantum coming out with similar sized touchscreens with their amazing multitouch resistive interface. That video from MWC was amazing! Considering the cost of capacitive panels supposedly shoots up with size, not to mention that an active system like that must hurt battery; seeing something amazing from the resistive side that actually kicks butt would be killer.
this would be sweet to coincide with my returning from iraq soonish!
Hey Sean, Mobile-review.com has an english site, so there's no need to link to the machine translated garbage. the english version is:

Surf with ease? If by "with ease" you mean watch my signal go up and down from full to zero every minute... I tried using it; ended up going in on a sat connection
I noticed that too; "While final specifications are yet to be fully disclosed, the company claims the drive train under development employs a revolutionary new technology that will allow the car to travel for extended periods - years, in some cases - without needing to be recharged."

What kind of crazy snake oil is that? I mean, lets try to remain in reality here.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
