You tard that image is a photoshopped Kindle.
@Brandon my sister bought one of Samsung's ultra-thin LED backlit LCDs because it was thin and light.
@upgeog I guess that you failed to learn how to write in complete sentences like the British taught you to.
You do realize TSMC does work for ATI, AMD, Nvidia, and Via. Yet you don't see knock-off video cards running around everywhere.
Imagine if you strapped a AAA battery on that thing. It would have like a years worth of battery life.
I think that it helps that Acer has a more developed and expansive supply chain compared to Asus. Plus, Asus hasn't done a good job at getting their better models out to the brick and mortar stores that do carry their products. I was at Target and all I saw were eee surfs with celeron processors, who would want that over a standard Aspire One?
@Tohe: If you're going to go into fake externalities, then maybe you should take into account the number of strained backs from lugging 17in laptops around everywhere.
There's one problem. It doesn't display attachments, except for jpegs.
At least the one guy is kind of cute in elf drag.
@jupiterthunder, kamokazi was referring to why the 'kiddnappers' would cost so little. Obviously, this dude's parents had a decent amount of money.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
