What a moron. I would have given it a reasonable price tag. Like in the 200s. That way, you could have called it a somewhat honest mistake. 5 dollars for a TV? Even at walmart? Aint gunna happen, buddy.
Ryan is in charge of this contest, yes? I can understand that he might be a little too busy to take care of this contest, as it seems it would be a lot of work. He ought to pass the duties onto someone else so that this contest can get done with and so that people will stop complaining.
XTi > 30D? Absolutely not. The 10 megapixel camera that is in the XTi is just a clever way to attempt to answer back to Nikon's D80. It's essentially become a megapixel war among the various companies. It's so that people can boast about how many megapixels their camera has.

Tests have shown that the XT > the XT in terms of noise. Why? Because the XTi has 10 million pixels shoved into the same size sensor as the XT. That leads to higher pixel density. high pixel density means more noise.

Ask any pro photographer. 30D or XTi. Most, if not all, would choose the 30D for its build quality, 5fps, rear jog dial, among other features.
I have every doubt in my mind that the 40D will go full frame. If they go full frame, then that means that EF-S lenses are only good for the 20D/30D and the Rebels. That would not be a good way to make money as some of their EF-S lenses are pretty dang pricey. EF-S 60 2.8 macro + 17-55 2.8 IS to name a few of their EF-S gems.

Oh and weather sealed? I highly doubt it. Only their 1D/1Ds bodies are weather sealed. If they weather sealed the 40D, then I am pretty positive that many sports photographers would opt for the much cheaper 40D for the weather sealing as long as they dont mind losing the 45 point AF and 8.5 fps from the 1D mkII N.
Looks pretty slick.
I dont think the video quality would be good enough for any satisfactory gaming. TV watching, maybe. Although name one instance where someone would be sitting next to a cable jack that doesn't already have a tv plugged into it.
I'm fairly sure they got stuck in the snow somewhere. We (seattle residence) just had a big snow flurry come in over the past couple of days. All the roads and all the highways were like parking lots because of all the ice that had accumulated on the roads. It has been impossible for people to drive on the highways because it's like driving a big sheet of ice. It got so bad that people parked their cars on the side of the road and walked to the nearest hotel, or they just slept in their cars overnight.

I hope he and his family are doing okay.
Extra controllers, for sure, so that all my friends can play.

"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
