Aug 7th 2008 4:38PM My real gripe with the AppStore are the reviewERS of the apps. I am so tired of apps getting dogged because "Dood u get this 4 free if U unlock use Cydia". I'd really like to see Apple have some kind of check & balance to the reviewers of apps. Many people are complaining about price and not commenting at all on the apps themselves. Don't like flashlight apps? Don't buy them. Duh. I'm not bothered that they're in the store though. Not every app can be Aurora Feint. ;)

Aug 5th 2008 12:35PM I did mine last night and it went fine. No problems. I don't notice that my apps load any faster, but they weren't THAT slow to begin with. In fact, I'm impressed how quick the update went, really. I can't believe how much Apple has botched things lately though. Good thing I'm one of the lucky ones without problems.

Jul 11th 2008 12:15PM Well it's certainly how I'M going to remember it! I wasn't around for i(diot)Day last year, as I bought my phone in February of 2008. So this is leaving quite a mark, IMO. Apple has screwed up, big time, and only the brainwashed will find excuses and cover up the fact that this is an EPIC FAIL. It's be one thing to not be able to install the update, but our phones are UNUSABLE. My phone has been sitting here nor for over three hours and I can't use it. I will certainly remember that.

Jul 11th 2008 11:42AM Well, after trying to update to 2.0 software, I still can't. I am now (and have been) without a Phone for nearly three hours. Thanks a lot Apple. How could you be so ill-prepared for this? Bazillions of people are now without their phones while you try and scramble to fix things.
I KNEW I should have waited a few days to update... :(
I guess I'll go pop my SIM in my trusty Sony Ericsson W810 and wait this POS out.

Jul 5th 2008 5:48PM That's pretty lame. It's a phone, people. I have an iPhone and I don't care if the next one out replaced human companionship - there's no way I'd be standing in line. I just have to laugh at these people.

Jun 13th 2008 2:46PM So, what if I want the new iPhone but not the new data plan? We don't have 3G here yet, and from what I've read, it's not going to be that much faster anyway. Can I take my SIM card from my old iPhone, purchase the new phone and keep my old iPhone plan?

Feb 24th 2008 11:11PM i mostly like my iphone, but like user newgalactic, i too see all the things WM6 can do, and it's frustrating that the iphone can't do...any of those things. shoot, i can even get into the files on my sony ericssons and they're nothing special. it's amazing to me how much you CAN'T do with the iphone. i have high hopes for the SDK and i'll gladly pay for apps. for now, i'm jailbroken, but most of the free apps are buggy, don't on 1.1.3 or are completely lame. customize and summerboard are great, once you figure out how to get them to work on 1.1.3.
i am also amazed how many people just accept whatever apples gives (or doesn't give) to them. i mean it's great that you like your iphone, and for some people, sure it's a perfect phone, but anyone who really knows cellphones knows the iphone falls short in many areas.

Feb 10th 2008 11:57PM finally, the SE phone i've been dreaming of! i'm a little disappointed it'll be running windows, but hey...you can't have it all. this thing out of the box will do all the things i'm wanting my iphone to do, but won't. i think this phone will be a huge success and i can't wait to get it. sure, it's not as sexy as the iphone, but the specs are great! way to go SE!
