"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
Having never driven any AMG Merc, I can't comment on the particular engines, but I feel like I am just starting to see the 63's on the road. They've only been producing them for what, maybe 2 years?
Also, wasn't one of the justifications for moving away from forced induction that the engines were producing too much torque? I'm pretty sure the 55's and 65's had to have their torque limited to 738 or something like that because it would tear up the transmission.
I feel like they are going to run into the same problem all over again, no? I do have to say, I am kind of excited they are bringing FI back (for the V8). I always thought the 55's and 65's were some of the most ridiculous sounding engines out there.
What they should do is bring the displacement down even more... do something like what BMW has done with the turbo V8 in the X6. I would take that engine over the NA V10 in the M5/M6 any day of the week.
