I've noticed this problem. I'm not saying it is a big deal, but as a bicyclist I've had one or two hybrids lurk behind me and surprise me when I look over my shoulder. Bicyclists get very used to hearing cars behind them and these silent non-killers definitley take an adjustment. Most bicyclists don't have mirrors and only do a minimal head check before making small lane changes.

I've stood in parking lots next to hybrids that start moving as if by magic. It IS a little unnerving. Obviously backup lights and drivers looking over their shoulders are the natural remedy, but when you see a silent car start moving, you realize how much you've been keying off the engine noise.

Comments about how quiet an internal combustion car is at idle are very funny. Does anyone roll from a stop (or roll along at 20 mph) at idle? You may think your car is quiet, but it isn't.
Sorry #4. Most military vehilces are diesel powered. No gasoline explosion.
Nice timing. I was just talking to somebody about putting a Skype speaker phone (SSP) in our conference room.

Does anyone have experience with any SSP currently avaiable?

"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
