I have to agree with you! I've had the N95 now for 4 months on O2 in the UK.

It's got the features, but as a phone it sucks!

I would also say to any Americans looking to buy this phone - buy an in car charger or a second battery - your gonna seriously going to need them!
I've been using the N95 in the UK for about 2-3 months now on the O2 network.

I too, was really looking forward to it's launch, but i have been quite disappointed with the phone. Yes it does everything, but as a phone it's really poor.

My journey home from work is 22 miles. My old Motorola V3i would loose the signal in 1 spot, the N95 looses the signal 7-8 times!!

If anyone else has this problem, would be interested to know.

Not to be too political, but this is just another fine example of the awful job politicians in Britain are doing at present, to what they call "combat terroism"!

Of course, it also helps them further rip off the British motoring public, with crap about carbon emissions and pricing schemes!
Does anyone know of any decent websites for downloading/purchasing software for the N95? I'm based in the UK if that makes a difference.

Buy the phone on O2 UK and the GPS maps are already pre-installed for the UK and i was told there is no data downloaded over the network, maybe some of you guys have had a raw deal??
I personally cannot wait to see if this comes to fruition.

Love Apple, or hate Apple - Jonathon Ive has to be one of the best designers in the world!!
The phone looks lovely, but i have to say, i agree with # 13 - Windows Mobile 5 is an absolutely crap Opertaing System!! I've seen less crashes at a destruction derby!!

I used a Windows mobile and now it's on Ebay - nuff sed!!
Such awsome specs and yet such a nasty, nasty colour - what went wrong there!!
I say just use an online DVD rental service. Yes you still need a suitable player, but save a fortune on changing your entire collection every 5 years!!

I personally would like to see electric cars developed more than these features. While they are certainly useful, the engine itself is still running on fossil fuel and costing me a fortune!!

And as for the guy who mentioned the UK's non sueing attitude - have you watched brit TV for longer than an hour!? "Had an accident any time anywhere, anywhere - hey why not sue your mother for giving birth to you"! - Come on, your having a laugh aren't you!!!
2006 beckons the dawn of the great Apple switch for me.
I've been debating it for a while now, but after seeing the new Macs, im gonna switch!

We could debate the speed tests etc for an eternity - my opinion - it's the first machine after the transistition, no it's not going to be the best Apple ever, but come on, it's still a shit-hot computer!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
