Just to speak to the PS3 comments, I don't think Nvidia originally intended to undermine the PS3 at launch. They are timing their releases as if everyone was sticking to their original schedules. The PS3 was supposed to be out this past Spring, and while the 7900 has been described as a PS3 equivalent they did give Sony a wide timeframe before they surpassed the PS3's performace.
It's already been said, but I'll say it again: this is a puppet.

It's a puppet that looks like a robot, but a puppet none-the-less. When it was posted on Slashdot it took me waaaay too long to figure out that there hadn't been an enormous leap made in the integration of voice-synthesis, voice-recognition, image recognition, and conversational AI.
Habu was the military name for the SR-71 Blackbird (which to my understanding was the public name, not used by people who flew or worked on the aircraft).

Habu is the name of a Japanese viper. According to wikipedia that desgination came about because the planes were flown out of "Kadena Air Base, Okinawa [and] the locals thought the strange and dangerous-looking planes looked like a habu..."
Nike + iPod was available for pre-order from Nike the day it was announced, May 23rd. (I ordered mine then.) So, the only thing that's news here is that now it's available from the Apple store too?
This is tabloid style non-story. If what Jobs said wasn't true then he would have said this: "We're going to stop releasing new iPod models for a year. Yes the component technologies keep improving, but we're just going to ignore that." That would have been news.
A couple things to note, with regard to ordering - the shoe and the kit are available for pre-order right now from the Nike store. From the Apple page you vist 3 different sites to get there, but you can order them now. (So the text on the Apple site must be outdated: "Be the first to hear when the Nike+iPod Sport Kit is available for order. Sign up now") If you pre-order now they do charge your credit card right away.

Also, from the Apple site it looks like they're adding a Nike section to the iTunes store with version 6.0.5. that will feature "Nike-created content" - whatever that is - and iMixes designed for workouts.
I'd guess that if this is the name, when they announce it they'll say it like's an acronym at first. "Introducing the Nintendo G.O." they'll say - it fits in with the Nintendo D.S. style of naming. Like the letters DS, it's probably intended to have mutliple meanings: Game Online (remember they've filed patents for online gaming), 5 to the Japanese audience (empahsising the proud Nintendo history), and probably just the English word "Go" - to empahsise that this form of control is more active than the other consoles. Don't just sit on your couch playing video games, G.o.!

That's my guess, anyway.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
