Oh please. I have been a vegetarian for 16 years and I am obese. Yeah, I'm fat! Being a vegetarian does NOT make you lose weight. Changing your eating habits makes you lose weight - you don't have to cut out meats. In fact, Lean Cuisine and Weight Watchers make a LOT of meat meals and very few vegetarian meals. You'd do better to switch to an all-Lean Cuisine diet than to cut out meat altogether.
How will this affect T-Mobile Hotspot users who connect through AT&T wifi? I use it on my iPod Touch often.
catalyn - It is a very big issue for us in the Deaf community that Netflix does not have CC or subtitles on watch it now. But Joystiq does not have control over it. Send your complaints to Netflix, not here. http://ir.netflix.com/contactus.cfm
You totally should upgrade! I wear Oticon Epoqs and they're just fabuous. Directionality is unbelievable, and the XW model communicates between ears so you really get a natural hearing experience. It's amazing. Not to mention the Bluetooth capability (I have a streamer) is pretty badass. :)
I am TOTALLY getting this. I wear hearing aids that are bluetooth-capable, and in order to use them with my iPod Touch 2G I bought a Jabra A120 dongle a few months ago. Had I known the 2G had bluetooth built-in I would have waited! But I can sell the dongle for more than $10, use that to pay for the upgrade to OS 3.0, and then not have to use the dongle ever again. This is a SWEET deal for me.
I am pretty sure this is just a prototype.
Don't forget, http://www.deafgamers.com/ has been compiling deaf-friendliness for videogames for a LONG time. Incredibly valuable resource for just about all gaming platforms available.
Um, it looks kind of like nipples. Or is that just me?!
That looks like a pretty sexy keyboard on the right, though. From this angle it looks almost as good as my Sidekick 2 keyboard, which is what keeps me tethered to that device...I just love the keyboard.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
