The best thing Oprah could do for her viewers is to teach them how to be successful. Giving away a load of a cars doesn't do anything for the person that can't afford the taxes.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach him how to fish and he eats for a lifetime.
Actually IBM's technical leadership is in chip and systems manufacturing (the Power6 and future Power7 systems are as slick as it gets). Speaking from experience, if they didn't have this deep technical know-how, they wouldn't be a technology company at all. They would just be a over-glorified services whore.

It's sad really. One of the greatest technology companies of all time has been reduced to suing individuals because they no longer want to work there. Suck it up Palmisano...you wanted outsourcing in a big way, now you're getting it.
If IBM didn't treat its people like shit they wouldn't want to leave. Get over it IBM...go find someone in India or China.
What a joke. The polygraph doesn't work and neither does this. It's just a tool to fool an ignorant suspect.
I'm so glad Intel is out there, deciding what's best for me.
Why "figuratively"? If a exec's new their heads were going to roll, they might man up and do their jobs or step out of the way.

Regarding Moto. They did fine until they stopped reinvesting in their company. The V60 and V600 were great, even the RAZR was good for a while, at which point Moto hit a wall and stopped innovating. There must be something criminal in NOT reinvesting the TONS of money they made off the RAZR.
congrats on a job well done...so far.
Here's a concept. Put her on a diet.

Remove the heavy xdrive system and drive the front wheels with the electric motors.

What about giving it the hydrogen drive train from the 7 Series?
No wonder Ford is losing money as fast as they can burn it. They'd be better off partnering with Dell and packaging a laptop with every over-priced truck.
Doesn't the RX compete with the X3/EX35/Q5 already? I would think the GX/LX compete with the X5/FX35/Q7.

The RAV4 offers a 4x4 option already so it's just a matter of tunning and looks/amenities.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
