Wow some of you guys are jerks... It's cool to disagree but no need to be so rude... Josh says 100% false? Isn't that a little steep???

Anyways, I was wondering if someone could clarify something for me.

I'm a little late to the wrath game but raided in BC and currently wearing full tier 4 at lvl 72. My hit rating is 291 at the moment and remember not being satisfied with that. This makes 99 seem super low to me. Is it just that the new lvl 80 gear doesn't give hit rating away nearly as much as the lvl 70 gear? Or is it just that easy to meet these base stats?

My other question: It was mentioned in the article that you don't want to be over a certain amount of hit and expertise. Is this because it will cause you to be less effective? Or are you just saying that it's not necessary and it's better to search for other stats at that point? I guess I'm just wondering if my current gear's hit rating is deterring my dps in some way.
I don't know why people seem to think that a genius needs to know more than them. Guess what. The bulk of people that shop at the Apple Store don't read sites like TUAW. They're looking for nice people to help them out in their own terms. They go to other service centres to deal with arrogant nerds like us.

The fact that we can sit here and argue about how we know more than a genius or the fact that sales people only know how to sell (umm... so?) shows that knowledge isn't everything. Clearly there's several very smart people on this thread who couldn't possibly deliver excellent customer service, which is not only my experience at the Apple store, but most likely their top priority, not knowing what a KVM switch is.

If you think they don't know what they're doing, do a little research. I suggest Forbes magazine
We would anyone hate this idea. It's completely harmless, it saves us from horrible advertising campaigns spawned from focus groups and over priced ad firms, and it gets people to create.

Where is the problem? How could anyone rag on anyone for doing this sort of thing? This is the only possible approach at advertising in general that makes me even want to watch a commercial. I want to see what someone came up with.
4! Well, one's my brother so if it has to be JUST friends then 3...
HD-DVD Drive, more controllers and something from Nintendo so I still feel loyal
BLUE DAGRON!!!
As much as I hate sony these days, I have to admit this ad is clever.

And sure I could read arguments from both sides saying that it's ok cause the white person is threatening or it's not okay because it feeds racist ideals.

They're all valid points I guess but ultimately the bottom line is this: This ad is based on comparing the color of people's skin to the color of PSPs. Does that offend you?

If it does, that's cool. If it doesn't, that's also cool.

I like the ad because these things don't offend me. I hate being all PC. Last time I checked, my Chappelle's Show DVDs are still hilarious. And if you like Dave Chappelle, you have to admit that you're kind of taking yourself out of the running for being offended at anything racist.

At any rate, I think we can all agree that it doesn't matter what the color of your PSP's skin is. It's still a piece of crap. My DS is red and you know what? It really has no bearing on how great I felt when I cracked open world 7 on New SMB last night on the subway!!
I'd ditch Space Invaders cause Pac Man better defines the era. Donkey Kong and Breakout can go too.

My three replacements would be:

Street Fighter II - If I had a quarter for everytime I've seen a crowd gathered around it... I'd spend it on SF2!

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - Yeah, games had blood and hookers before Vice City but this game put it in the hands of every 8 year old with a neglectful parent!

Final Fantasy VII: While it was a decent hit in North America, Sony's aquisition of the FF franchise might just be the most shocking news in Japanese gaming history. This game made the PS a guaranteed smash hit and turned all the major developers' heads away from Nintendo and Sega for the first time in like a decade.
Sorry to say its true. I work for a third party Mac retailer and the Apple Store up the road usually gets the new stuff A week before us. Right now, we're hoping to get the MacBook in by next week. Apple's got enough to spare. The other real problem is that the Apple Store does the student pricing on the spot. We're not aloud under any circumstances.

This list goes on. I'm not knocking the Apple Store. I think it's great and it introduces new users to the Mac product. It would just be nice to be able to offer the same thing as the guys up the street, especially since they insist that we're all on the same
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
