When will a wireless printer make itself known to iPhone, so you can put an app on to print off photos / maps / webpages / etc? cmon... all the technology is there now...
i doubt Sony would be able to begin monopolistic/anti-competitive pricing policies of Blu-Ray components without authorities stepping in. They would be obliged to license the technology or offer it at a regulated price.
this is all much of a muchness... I've had unlimited UMTS data via Three X-Series and with frequent google maps, all personal email, occasional RSS via opera and the occasional 3MusicStore download, I never even come close to their fair usage limits (most i've EVER used is 200mb in a month I think, usually hovers 80-130mb)
how exactly is a DVD drive more "limiting" to the user experience than an Elite II with HD DVD built-in which is backwards compatible? Surely if HD flops they could still make a Blu Ray add-on which is no different than the existing combo (except slightly more expensive in the short term).
I wonder how soon it'll be used to tag speed trap locations and such!
shame they don't ship to uk - £50 for 30gb tuneage would be perfect for working out. That plus an armband would save me from gunking up my 80gb iPod
This'll sell really well with John Smiths suffering from low self-esteem
WANT.

(drooling at this, which is quite sad in itself. But I'm on a 3g-only network so this is the first nice phone since n95)
Could this be a SIM-free (i.e. no operator tie) version? At a suitably-massive premium?
I laugh at those iPhone wishlists and I just think, N95, N95, N95 - answers almost every missing feature!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
