Do you all think that the sept 5 announcement for new pods will mean increased functionality for the existing iphone? i'm talking games, itms mobile etc...
Um... yeah, can you run photoshop cs (and all the rest) compiled for the mac on it? Last keynote Steve said that you have to re-compile and re-release Intel friendly software versions... said that there is a cool little developers app that aids in this process. Did he mention any of this in todays keynote?
With all the ipod rips announced, this one will mostly revolve around itunes content with a bunch of time (extra 90 mins) being devoted to "content partners" (ABC Disney HBO etc)... just check the podcasts sponsored by CES itself... all were really tight lipped about their delivery strategies with apple.

As far as hardware, yes, there will be a broadband h264 .mac content delivery system that does not actually allow you to save your content to local drives, just to .mac and mac mini dvr media delivery device and of course the new ipod... hey, they might just but Tivo and integrate their dvr implementation that way... who knows

ilfe update is assured including template based iweb for podcast integration with .mac pages and a new hosting service... perhaps website hosting with the suffix ".mac" that extends the existing .mac homepage to a semi pro level. With the Adobe acquisition of macromedia there will definitely be a pro web app on its way to fill in their pro line.

He wont mention Leopard... save that for WWDC

Yes, intel ibooks (q2 release dates)
Yes, nano updates

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
