I wondered about that too. I never figured out how to use them, not having a PS2/3, but I knew they were there, and that they are important in some games.

With all the mods, how hard would it be to just extend the traces appropriately?
Dude, do the world a favor and use this nice little thing called the "PERIOD". (See how I did that right there?) You could use a few more commas as well. I know you know how, as you must be at least 13 to participate on most internet sites. When you properly use punctuation you can get your point across to everyone, because there is no need to guess where your thoughts change. People will then take your comments seriously; your opinion becomes worth considering.

Stop letting your ignorance show just 'cause you are on the internet.

Also that second word in your post should be spelled KNOW as in the word knowledge. Read your posts before posting, you look like an idiot.
AM/FM/XM/Internet, yet, not HD Radio? Come on, you have the analog tuners, the ability to decode MPEG audio, and the interface to take advantage of all the HD extras. That is just moronic.
Does this thing remind anyone else of a character from the show ReBoot? I'm thinking Hexadecimal's sidekick.
This list is in need of some clarification. They have UMass on the list, but that is 4 schools (that I can come up with right now) in very different parts of the state. So it is really skewed. Also, a per-capita list would make much more sense in identifying problem schools.
They were not "crippled" as you say, it was a limitation of the drive controller that was used and it effected many computers of that age and older, not just macs.

Basically though, if there is going to be an easily attainable size restriction, it will probably be that same 128GB limit.
Your problem is the drive, not the Powerbook. The USB specification only allows for 0.5 amps MAX one a single port. Only low power drives can use this adapter, as most use something like 0.6-1.2 amps, at spin-up anyway. If you got the same drive to work on a different computer, the hub or adapter you were using had VERRY sloppy power management. That is why most USB 2.5" adapters use a pigtail cable to siphon more power from other ports. Many of these adapters have a way to use a PSU with them, contact your manufacture to see if they offer one.
TripleHead2Go means that is is designed to work with laptops, for presentations and such, and be relatively portable. It is not meant to imply that you bring displays with you. Check out the site.
I beg to differ. While this would be great for something first person like a fight sim or just about any FPS with the extra peripheral vision it offers, the real market is in media editing. Audio and Video suites use timelines that could always be longer. Pallets and small windows normally work fine on a multi monitor setup, but not timelines. Also, most programs are not designed to play well with others when it comes to sharing screen real-estate, so even with a wide screen, there is waisted space and overlapping windows, especially sense 4:3 is still the norm so that is the proportions of most windows. Having 8:3 or 4:1 (12:3) to play with is very useful, if only for a niche few.
It, looks to me like like singing "hi ho" is not specifically for a malfunction, (it would have happened much sooner to when it stopped mid phrase) but more of a 'time out' or 'screen saver' activity, similar to what happens when a video game is left unattended in play (pioneered back in the day of Sega vs. Nintendo with things like Sonic tapping his foot impatiently). So if the AI system receives no input for any reason (the operator REALLY has to pee) the characters will still pretend to have life in them.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
