Send one my way, k thanks.
@SteveJr_Ri

Nah man, there's still hope for you pirates out there.

The fact is, the way 3d works right now is by trying to simulate parallax, so while for movies i think you're out of luck, this won't be the case for games that achieve parallax in a different way. (think Johnny Lee, Wii 3d demo, he achieves parallax with head tracking instead)

And to all the 3d nay sayers... watch the 2d version.

There i solved your problem with the technology.

Now, for every one else, the main problem i see is the lack of content, i want it now.
That's a pretty dumb comment.

The fact is, the more speed we get, the more things that can, and will eventually be done... and then even those users that you claim don't need more speed will find themselves using that extra speed because of new applications that just weren't possible before.
What they should be doing instead is showing it in S3d... after having played the demo, and viewing the trailer it's clear to me it would look amazing in 3d.
It LOOKS designed for s3d... i wonder if this game actually is.
Ok, enabling 3d on "all titles" sounds like it won't really work that well on a lot of titles that don't have proper depth.

The intriguing part here is, if this is true side by side 3d it would mean you need 2x the performance...
Also, notice how he mentions the PS3 slim, and not the regular PS3... (this is the only way this makes sense to me, i don't think the old PS3 would be able to do this with out cutting the frame rate in half in most games.)

So... i think the PS3 slim is a Trojan horse that has no problem doubling the performance of the current PS3 once the firmware comes out... this is actually awesome.
If this is the case, it'd be the first time we see those chip reduction size in consoles be anything more than just money savers for Sony and us (for us the power draw).

Very exciting.. i just hope they support other types of output and not just shutter glass.
As i finished typing my last comment i read there has been another execution, just about 40 minutes ago.

It's like clockwork. not a day goes by with at least one event like this.

This is in Chihuahua, Chihuahua.
In Juarez Chihuahua they usually kill even more than here in the capital. (though latley it's about the same.)
Swine flu... right, you have a better chance of finding the chupacabras here in Mexico.

Gang violence? you think this is Cholos or something?

There is a lot of violence here in Northen Mexico right now, but not by "gangs"

It's deeply organized crime, and it happens just about anywhere these days, Usually these guys travel heavily armed, most of the time they travel in caravans and kill their targets regardless of who they are with, or where they happen to be. (it can be in a restaurant, in a walmart parking lot, etc.) (www.tiempo.com.mx is a good source of reports with pictures of the aftermath of this.)
They just don't care, they're far better armed than the police can cope with.

One of their latest kills (these guys not only do drug related stuff, but extortions, kidnappings, etc.) was the leader of the Mormon community here in the state of Chihuahua. (these are people that defected from the US when the church was cracking down on poligamists in the 1930's, they have double citizenship, meaning. they're both Mexican/American.) The guy got killed for standing up to the kidnappers of his brother.

If you asked me 10 years ago if i'd ever imagine violence like this here, i'd would've said you're out of your mind.

But, as it turns out things are pretty ugly right now, with anywhere from 2-10 people murdered, execution style daily here.

So yeah, these are no mere "gangs".

Funny thing is if you were here you wouldn't even know it was happening, unless you happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. (evryone knows someone that has been close, or witnessed an execution, so i guess the odds of that aren't that low.)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
