Back here on Earth take that $24.99 and add $15.00 for any thing under the sun they would like to call it. "special usage fees", "State Upkeep dues", or my favorite "We can call it whatever the hell this week, as we own your phone line, you dummy"
As far as I am concerned they can build themselves a FIOS hut and stream themselves into outerspace. If they price point it too high I could care less how many telephone poles they can put up in an hour.

PSP gets price cut, GPS, camera, VoIP and future media download service {Engadget}
Mar 15th 2006 11:42AM Ok this is all realy great news. New things for the PSP are always possitive. But why drop the price of the unit? I think it is very resonalbe at $250. It's the friggen Media and Memory Sticks that need a price overhall. Target has a sale on 1GB strips for $69. This is going to be my first memory upgrade for it since I bought it over a year ago. I just won't get ripped. I would rather wait. The only resonable prices are the games at $40. I have several. Come on cut prices where it counts, on the movies and memory. You already are doing great on everthing else. I guess you could say you are saving money overall buy reducing the price on the device, but can't you help a brother out? I like the one recommendation of bundling the movies with their regular release. $30 bucks for both the movie on dvd and psp is what I am taking about. Now that's reasonalbe. Not giving it away but at least your selling a resonable product. And Memory sticks need to be more like $100 for 4 gigs. That's what I am talking about.
Sprint employee refuses to divulge kidnapped baby's GPS info {Engadget}
Jan 13th 2006 4:08PM This is a cease and desist order to all spell checkers, no one cares so go away. Go spell check your middle schooler's spelling quiz. Shouldn't you be teaching my kid how to read books that no one cares about when you grow up?
Concerning the entry that actually deserves a reply to......
It's all about the dollar. They spit out call center reps so fast they don't put value on longer training. I think Sprint's customer service is the worst ever and it's a Values problem. They value my money more then my feelings. I pray I never have a problem and dream of the day when cell phone companies are as nice to deal with as Lowes. Now there's a company! Awesome customer service.
Concering the lady that had good experience with Sprint, that sounds like an example of a call rep not following procedure to help her. So Sprint still sucks, they just happen to have a moral call rep working for them... You can't train good service, but you can train if you do bad service you will be fired. When you tell the call reps to limit their calls to 2 mins. that's not instilling that you care about the customer. That's tell them to get rid of you as fast as possible weather or not your happy. See if they get enough fast calls, they will get a possitive feedback from all thouse, What's the number to Pizza Hut Calls... See how easy it is to hid in numbers, that's what they are training.
100 happy pizza eaters are more important then one dead baby.
