Yes please. Time to put the cracked iPhone 3G up for sale and enjoy the relative freedom of Windows Mobile!
Touche! Updated!

[there, now you can rank Chris' response - not there was anything wrong with it]

Actually, no, I just read on.. Gizmodo? that it caches your route and nearby info when you depart, meaning WiFi or 3G at the starting point would be enough.
It would be great if you could download your route + nearby areas before the trip. That would solve the 'off network' issue with limited memory use.
This seems like the perfect way to draw people away from competing systems, and turn us all into googleminions. My guess: this is not coming any system other than Android.
His comment appears to be dressed in vaporwear..
I'm surprised the window previews on the taskbar are not mentioned. I have just about stopped using ALT-Tab for window switching because of this. If I have five word documents and four explorer windows open, I can quickly see a preview of all word documents by hovering over the Word button, select the one I need, and even close some of them right from the thumbnail view. That is one of the major usability improvements for me.
I ordered the XGA version late 2007 and mine makes a nice popping sound whenever I open the laptop due to the bezel issue. It's still a great deal, but personally I'm holding out to see if a capacitive touch version will appear around the time Win7 comes out.
I tried the BB Storm, and the clickable screen is a great way to view menu items before clicking them. Trying it in the store though, typing messages with a 'click per letter' felt tiresome. Is it already possible to turn off the 'click requirement' for the keyboard only? Or would that conflict with any functionality?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
