Sony are already behind the 8-ball figuratively speaking by taking so long to release the PS3. A lot of people would have bought a 360 rather than waiting almost a year to buy a PS3, which when you look at the hardware specs is very similar to a 360.
The PS3 has also lost its advantage of having games that used to be only for playstation but are now on PC and Xbox.
Xbox 360 will be the biggest seller overall, with casual gamers opting for the Wii and the PS3 will fall behind quite badly and probably resort to price slashing to sell.
Its like people that drive $500k cars, its mostly just to say, hey look what I can afford.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
