Nice to see an e-book reader that shows off some nice colour art. I think this is a pretty good selling point. I really like the covers of books and until now it's been a missing factor. Would love to see an e-ink color display... would be amazing for graphic novels! this is a god start tho IMO.
A color screen, the greyscale one sucks in a big way. Can't even check out book cover artwork. VERY 1980's.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz These things really need color screens. EVERY news paper today is printed in full colour. How do you view a graphic novel or design/art/photography book, where's the mag/book cover artwork?

In principle this is a good idea but this incarnation looks pretty lame as it stands.
Yep, love Apple but to be honest they've done something very wrong here. My GPS is now total crap as well as my 3G signal!!
That's 17 more than they should of sold IMO.

It may have a clear screen but say I want to view some graphics or maybe photo's to illustrate something?? Even print newspapers print in color these days and they use technology that's several hundred years old now.
Color screen?? It looks like something from the 1980's.
Cool, like it! The digital art thing sounds wicked.
Some people are just c*nts!
And, erm, thickness (no I'm not talking about the people that write this garbage) they've totally missed the point, Macbook Air is just a weenie bit thinner, wouldn't you say?? Man you could fit three MBA's into the space of one of those bloated thinkpads. You know what they say, size is everything! Give me the MBA ANY day.
LOL This is FUNNY!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
